Crime Is Hard Work

Having broken into a house, a robber in New Zealand was loading up his car with the various valuables he had found. The last item on his list of things to steal was the television, which was very big and heavy. He turned it on to check that it worked, not wanting to make an unnecessary trip if it didn't. His favourite programme was just starting, and, safe in the knowledge that the

owners would be away for some hours yet, he settled down on the sofa to watch it. However, tired after all that carrying and lifting, he soon fell asleep and began to snore away in front of the television. He was still sleeping like a baby when the owners returned from their night out and found him there!
