Forget The Change
A young woman walked into a bookstore in Glasgow and, putting a twenty pound
note on the counter, asked for change. When the assistant opened the till she
pulled out a knife and demanded all the money in it. The cashier handed over all
the money, and the woman made a run for it, leaving the twenty pound note on the
desk. When the thief got home and counted the money she was dismayed to realize
that the money in the till came to barely sixteen pounds. She had left the bookstore
with a small profit from the incident!
