Criminal With Armour

A man planning to rob his neighbour's house in the dead of the night bought a suit of armour, reasoning that should he be discovered during the robbery the suit would not only disguise his features, but also help to protect him from any attack. Although the house was only two streets away, it took him over half an hour to walk there in his unwieldy suit and he was spotted by several passersby, who were startled by the strange armoured apparition wandering around the suburban streets. He managed to make it to the house and pick the lock to get in, but once inside, the clanking of his armour immediately woke up the owners. They came downstairs and cornered him, eventually pushing a book case on to him and trapping him. Worse was to come, for the book case squashed his armour so badly that he was unable to get out of it, and he had to spend his first night in police cells in the uncomfortable armour. As the next day was a Sunday, it was two days until a locksmith could be found to cut him free.
