After having shot a police officer during a raid on his house, a man made
a run for it into nearby woods. After a long chase in freezing cold winter weather,
the man contracted a mild case of hypothermia. He later tried to sue the police
for not having done their job quickly enough and thus causing him to develop the
condition! The case was, not surprisingly, thrown out of court.
