Wrong Car!

A man in Canada had a good night out at the pub with all his friends. Despite having got very drunk during the course of the evening, he decided he would drive the five miles home. On his way, he was stopped by two police officers who noticed his car weaving erratically all over the road. They asked him to get out of his car so that they could administer a breathalyser test. Just as he was about to take the test, the policemen were distracted by something happening a couple of blocks down the street, and the man, seizing the opportunity to make his escape, quickly hopped back in the car and drove off. Somehow he, made it home safely, congratulating^himself on a close shave.

The next morning, he was awoken by a ring at the doorbell. Very hungover, he made his way downstairs to find the same two officers on his doorstep. They accused him of having being drunk in charge of a vehicle the previous night, which he strenuously denied. His denials were somewhat undermined, however, when the officers opened up his garage and found their patrol car parked inside!
