Not Enough Fuel

Three car thieves in Italy decided that there were rich pickings to be had from stealing three cars from a car transporter parked at a motorway service station. Each took a car and drove off. They didn't get very far, though, as the cars had only been filled with one gallon of petrol each! The vehicles were later found abandoned on the hard shoulder only yards away from the service station.
