A patrol officer who pulled over a man speeding on the motorway was about
to issue a standard fine when the man suddenly blurted out, 'You're not going
to check in the boot, are you?' The officer, who up till then had no intention
of doing so, opened the boot of the car to find several pounds of marijuana inside,
which the man had been taking to sell in another city.
